We use the very best quality fabrics, thread and trims in all our products. Below you will find some helpful information.
Fabric:
Our beautiful uniforms are made of the highest quality Chlorine Resistant Fabric which we use for our traditional cuts and dye sublimated uniforms. We only use Chlorine Resistant fabric because of its fantastic quality for frequent pool use though it is also hold its colour in the sunshine too.
Be aware swimwear fabric including chlorine resistant fabric tends to snag on rough surfaces.
We have a fantastic range of chlorine resistant fabrics in solid colours available to be used in your clubs uniforms. Remember, the colour choice in Dye Sublimated printed fabrics is unlimited.
Fabric Printing:
Your club can get a customised fabric design to be used on your swimwear uniforms. The club will need to organise an artwork security fee of $200 before any designs can be produced. If the club places their first order within 2 months to the date of paying the artwork security fee, the club will receive a $200 discount off their total order invoice. Therefore the club has the chance to receive a free customised design. Should the club order outside this 2 month period, the $200 security fee will be non refundable.
The artwork security fee includes three concept uniform designs from which the club can select "one". The designer will further this design only to create something unique and customised for the club. Minor changes such as text, spelling, colours or reducing the number of design features or altering existing minor features can all be made without further charges. If the club requires major work to me done on the design an hourly rate of $95 will apply. Please note that the club will be notified if the work required will incur an extra charge. The Manufacturers logo appears on all garments.
What is a 'Dye Sublimated' custom Print?
We use the lasted in fabric technology to produce photographic images and illustrations on fabric. In fact, anything that you can put on a computer monitor can be perfectly reproduced onto many types of fabrics. The finish is especially wonderful on swimwear fabrics and will never fade! The dye sublimation inks are chemically fused into the fibres of the fabric and the depth of colour and fine detail is like nothing that has ever been available in the textile printing industry before. This technology has 3 stages - pattern design (your digital artwork), printing (Your artwork printed on waterbase paper) and pressing (Your artwork rolled through a high heat press machine). Once these stages have been completed your uniforms are on fabric and can continue through production.
Printing Methods:
We offer two types of dye sub custom prints for your uniforms. Placement Printing which keeps your design in the same place on all sizes and styles and roll printing which seamlessly repeats your print for full garment coverage.
We only produce our uniforms in chlorine resistant fabric. Please ensure your club members know that dye sublimated garments do require extra care. Swimwear fabric is very soft and therefore will snag on rough and adbrasive surfaces and fiction on bathers can also cause a pilling effect. Swimwear From Oz can not be held respoonsiable for the treatment of the bathers once they have left our factory. It is the responsiablity of the club and the swimwear owner to read and follow the care label inside all garments as well as the advice from your consultant.
Vinyl Printing: Print your club or team name or logo on your swimwear. This is a revolutionary printing method which is superior to any screen printing. Bright, sharp images -stand out even on dark fabrics. Emblems 'glow' in the distance. There are 1000's of lettering styles to choose from. There are no set-up charges for standard logos.
One colour prints available for $4.00AUD per print per garment. Two colour prints and individual garment prints can be done upon request for an additional cost.
